Veterinary Medical Waste

Planned route-based medical waste and sharps collection for New Jersey veterinary practices.

Veterinary clinics generate regulated medical waste through the diagnosis, treatment and immunization of animals: sharps from vaccinations and blood draws, surgical waste, and contaminated materials. New Jersey regulates this waste the same way it regulates waste from human healthcare, and it needs the same compliant handling.

Waste streams we plan to collect from veterinary practices

  • Sharps: needles and syringes from vaccinations, blood draws and euthanasia procedures.
  • Red bag waste: blood-saturated materials and other qualifying regulated waste from surgery and treatment.
  • General regulated medical waste from examination, surgical and laboratory work.

Route service that fits clinic life

Vet clinics run on tight schedules with unpredictable days. Our planned route-based service is designed to be predictable where it matters: the truck arrives when expected, the paperwork is complete, and the staff does not have to think about waste. Smaller clinics can use on-call pickups instead of paying for a schedule they do not fill.

Service is in development and pending required regulatory approvals. We are not accepting or transporting regulated medical waste at this time.
