Dental Medical Waste
Planned medical waste pickup designed for New Jersey dental practices and oral surgery offices.
Dental offices generate a distinctive mix of regulated waste: sharps from injections and surgical procedures, gauze and materials contaminated with blood, and in oral surgery practices, higher volumes that look a lot like a small medical practice. Our planned dental service is designed around how dental offices actually work.
Waste streams we plan to collect from dental offices
- Sharps: needles, syringes, carpules and scalpel blades in rigid containers.
- Red bag waste: blood-saturated gauze, extracted teeth with blood, and other qualifying regulated waste.
- General regulated medical waste from surgical and implant procedures.
Why dental practices need a right-sized plan
Most general dental offices are small-quantity generators. A national contract built for hospitals can mean paying for weekly pickups a two-operatory practice does not need, plus administrative and container fees that dwarf the actual waste cost. Our planned model matches pickup frequency to real volume, with on-call options for the smallest offices.
Oral surgery and specialty practices
Oral surgery, periodontics and endodontics generate more regulated waste per procedure than general dentistry. Our planned route service will accommodate higher-volume specialty offices with recurring schedules while keeping documentation clean for every pickup.
Service is in development and pending required regulatory approvals. We are not accepting or transporting regulated medical waste at this time.
