Planned Services

Planned regulated medical waste collection and transportation for New Jersey healthcare facilities.

NJ Medical Waste Removal is being built around one job: collecting properly packaged regulated medical waste from New Jersey healthcare generators and transporting it to appropriately authorized receiving, treatment, transfer or disposal facilities. We are not building a treatment or incineration operation. Our planned role is compliant collection, documentation and transportation.

Planned service lines

Regulated medical waste pickup

Planned scheduled collection of regulated medical waste from medical, dental, veterinary and outpatient healthcare facilities across New Jersey, with recurring and on-call options.

Sharps collection and transport

Planned pickup and compliant transportation of properly contained sharps waste, including needles, syringes, lancets and other qualifying sharps.

Red bag and biohazard waste

Planned collection and transport of qualifying red bag and biohazard waste when packaged, labeled and documented in accordance with applicable requirements.

Dental medical waste

Planned medical waste pickup designed for dental practices, oral surgery offices and specialty dental facilities throughout New Jersey.

Veterinary medical waste

Planned route-based medical waste and sharps collection for veterinary practices and animal healthcare facilities.

How the planned service will work

  • Review your needs. We will evaluate waste type, approximate volume, pickup frequency and facility location to build an appropriate service plan.
  • Set the route. Recurring or on-call service planned around generator needs and efficient New Jersey collection routes.
  • Collect and transport. Properly packaged, labeled and documented waste will be collected and transported in accordance with applicable requirements.
  • Deliver and document. Collected waste will be delivered to an appropriately authorized receiving, treatment or disposal facility with required tracking documentation.

Three things we plan to do well

The right containers

Container supply is part of the service, not an upsell. We plan to match container types and sizes to each facility’s real volume, supply liners and US DOT-compliant labels with every container, and advise on placement and handling so staff are not improvising.

Compliant collection and transportation

Our planned role is cradle-to-grave responsibility for the part we control: careful collection of properly packaged waste, compliant transportation, and delivery to appropriately authorized receiving, treatment or disposal facilities. We are not building a treatment operation, which lets us focus on doing collection and transport well.

Documentation and compliance support

Every planned pickup includes complete tracking documentation. We also plan guidance on NJDEP generator registration, the annual generator report, and practical staff training on packaging, labeling and storage. See our New Jersey medical waste compliance guide.

Containers we plan to supply

For New Jersey facilities we plan to supply 15-gallon disposal boxes and 30-gallon disposable boxes for red bag waste, 31-gallon and 43-gallon reusable containers, and 96-gallon containers for higher-volume generators, all with liners and US DOT-compliant labels included. Bulk options such as 200-gallon reusable containers are planned for qualifying larger generators, with the required bulk packaging training provided.

What it will cost

We are designing pricing to be readable on one page: a per-container, per-pickup model based on your volume, pickup frequency, container sizes and waste streams, with no hidden fuel surcharges, vague administrative fees or fine-print escalators. Planned service roadmap

We are launching with the core streams New Jersey independent practices generate every day, then expanding toward single-vendor coverage:

Phase one: at launch

  • Regulated medical waste pickup
  • Sharps collection and transport
  • Red bag and biohazard waste
  • Dental medical waste
  • Veterinary medical waste

Planned next

  • Pharmaceutical waste
  • Trace chemotherapy
  • Pathology waste
  • Amalgam (dental)
  • Mail-back sharps options
  • OSHA compliance training for facility staff

Common questions

How will medical waste pickup be priced?

We plan a per-container, per-pickup model based on four factors: waste volume, pickup frequency, container sizes and the streams included. Containers, liners, labels, pickups and tracking documentation are part of the plan. Our pricing is being designed without hidden fuel surcharges, vague administrative fees or fine-print escalators.

What containers will you supply?

We plan to supply 15-gallon and 30-gallon disposable boxes, 31-gallon and 43-gallon reusable containers, and 96-gallon containers, all with liners and US DOT-compliant labels. Bulk options such as 200-gallon reusable containers are planned for larger generators, with the required packaging training included.

Can one vendor handle our sharps, red bag waste and dental waste?

That is the plan. Our core service lines cover regulated medical waste, sharps, red bag and biohazard waste, plus dental and veterinary streams, so a New Jersey practice can consolidate vendors. Our roadmap adds pharmaceutical waste, trace chemotherapy and pathology after launch, moving toward true single-vendor coverage.

Does a small office in New Jersey need scheduled pickups?

Not necessarily. Many small New Jersey practices generate modest volumes that do not justify a weekly truck visit. Our planned service includes on-call pickups for smaller generators, so a two-operatory dental office or solo practice pays for collections it actually needs rather than a schedule built for a hospital.

Are you licensed to transport medical waste today?

No, and we will not claim otherwise. We are currently preparing for launch, and regulated medical waste collection and transportation will begin after we receive all required governmental approvals, registrations, vehicle authorizations and insurance. We are not accepting or transporting regulated medical waste at this time. This page describes our planned service.

Service is in development and pending required regulatory approvals. We are not accepting or transporting regulated medical waste at this time.
